Where the South Tower once Stood

NYC, New York view map

The eastern side of the south pool of the National September 11 Memorial. This was the footprint of the WTC South Tower.
Most of the victims, whose names are engraved in this section, came from the investment banking firm Sandler O'Neill + Partners, which lost 66 principals and employees to the 9/11 terrorist attack.
In the background is the World Financial Center, which suffered significant damages on 9/11.
