Every year the earliest Semipalmated Plovers seem to show up within 100 yards of the east end of the Powder Point Bridge. I've checked with regularity for the last several days with no luck, and so was pleased to find 6 birds preening and settling in to their familiar spot. This documentation photo is dull because of the dense fog.
