Within two miles of our rental condo, I came upon these burrowing owls.
What a lucky year, this was my third sighting of these little guys.
When I'm out riding I shoot with my Canon G11, a fine point-and-shoot camera, but not the same as shooting with my Canon 7D and my 70-200mm lens.
Still, I'm glad I got the photos showing these owls in their "natural" habitat amongst humans.
