Desert Iguana

Big Dune, Amargosa Valley, Nevada

The Desert Iguana, Pustyniogwan (Dipsosaurus dorsalis) is one of the most common lizards of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. They also occur on several Gulf of California islands.
