14 April: Gas Meter

Yes, gas meter reading day today and due to the cold temperatures over the last 3 months I expect this latest bill will be the biggest we've ever had!

Got through half an oak tree, and twice as much oil as last year. Hurrah for the warmth...!

Not sure which is worse gas prices or Oil... filling our oil tank is horrendously expensive and we have the added bonus of being able to watch the level go down! Fingers crossed that your bill isn't as much as you fear.

Frightening reminder our bill came in last week almost double that of the same period last year.
