Welcome Colour

It was such a dull damp miserable day that I didn't lift my camera until it was almost too late.
These colourful flowers, bought at a street market in Drogheda last week, saved the day.

This is a lovely burst of saturated colours, strong enough to stand out from the background which is itself quite strong but softened by the depth of field. Despite the white vase and splash of blue there's a very warm feel to this.
