Digging to Australia?

I'm not really sure what the lambs were doing.
I think they are playing in a rut made by a tractor wheel but the thought did cross my mind that perhaps they were trying to escape our dismal spring weather.

I hope that they remember to alter course as they go through, because if they do a straight diametric dig by my calculations they'll end up in a vast expanse of the South Pacific many hundreds of km to the south of New Zealand. No, frtom the expressions I think that the two centre left are saying conspiratorially "... and Harry goes out from hut 104!"
