We were honored by the presence of Miguel "Mikey" Matera and John Rizzo who regaled us with tales of piloting aircraft ranging from DC-4's to B747's all over the world. John graduated from Hialeah High in 1967, two years after me and worked for the old Dade County Port Authority at Tamiami Airport before deciding that being a pilot was far more fun and glamourous.
