Framed or Shot Through

Dundalk's courthouse shot through a bronze sculpture by local artist
Sandra Bell
The sculpture which stands in Earl Street is entitled Rhythm and Reason.
It is a large scale version of a piece which was presented to US President Bill Clinton when he visited Dundalk in 2000 and stands on the spot where he addressed the thousands of people who came to see him on a cold December night.

Very interesting angle; it almost looks like the two arms are poised to bang a set of cymbals together over the roof of the courthouse beyond.

I love it when someone goes an extra mile to convey a title, Full marks for a great image depicting the subject. I admire the strength of this composition.

it certainly has rhythm, and makes a grand foil to the more orthodox architecture behind..V

I'm not often a fan of modern artwork, but this is stunning and beautiful; very appealing. Terrific shot, too. V

Stunning sculpture. I'm staring at the screen waiting for the golden horns to to arc 10,000 volts.

That sculpture is remarkable. I like the black with gold and the sense of motion it imparts. Super capture of this modern piece with the classic buildings in the background. V.

Interesting with the classical straight lines of the columns through the organic, curves of the sculpture.
