Alex Griffiths started the Sanctuary
by feeding “wild” Lorikeets at the site and this is still popular with 2 feeding
times (at 0800 and 1600) daily. Today this sanctuary has over 70 different species
of birds on show; including Parrots, cockatoos, emus, and this Sacred Kingfisher.
