River Thames. Southwark Bridge

Located next to the London Millennium Bridge, the current Southwark Bridge was completed in 1921, making it the second Southwark Bridge to be built on this site. The first Southwark Bridge, constructed in 1819, suffered from low toll revenue due to its toll-free neighbors. The new bridge was designed to parallel both Blackfriars Bridge and London Bridge to help ease the flow of the city's traffic. Boats were once moored by Thames ferrymen near the steps where the south side of the bridge currently stands. The north end of the bridge lies nearby the Cannon Street tube station while the south end rests near the Clink Prison Museum

Nice capture, Jose.
Your background text made me check on Google that an old English term for jail (as in 'in the clink') derives from the Clink Prison.Amazing the things you learn through Pbase!
