I went out to shoot some birds during the recent snowfall. I may have enjoyed it, in spite of having to shovel some of the heavy wet snow, but these poor birds have to live in in.

Note added: In spite of what it looks like and what most people assumed, it wasn't actually very cold - just wet. The temperature was only just below the freezing point.

This is stunning. Really lovely. The blue on the jay contrasts beautifully with the soft white snow.
