This is the view from my table every morning when I visit the coffee house in Florence, Oregon. Ever since our visit to Spain and Portugal I have switched to espresso. In Portugal you are the odd man asking for an "Americano" as everyone drinks espresso.

I was amazed that people would order the doll-sized cup, with a saucer, takes some sips, and after about three minutes time, on their way to work, or wherever they are going. I have to have a "double" as I need a little more. BTW, it is fun to feel the "rush" in about two minutes as the caffeine hits the brain!
