from entrance to churchyard

view map

very difficult to photograph now, many older pics having been taken before gross hedging around it and longer views from the west being hampered by 3 separate lines of overhead HV cables. Vandals live.

Unusually, limewashed as such stone as is till visible is evidently badly eroded on this rather exposed hill-top. Geotagged http://maps.pbase.com/edit/crisscross/image/149203702#

A good view of the door and tower. Mandy and I came here a year or so back but the building was locked up. V.

I like the line of headstones to the door. What an unusual church this is!

The light is quite appealing here, and I like your composition with the gravestones in the foreground.

Geotagged, eh...? I'm impressed! Lovely light and composition... -- but I'm struggling to think of another church that's been limewashed like this....
