Al een paar jaar organiseert Nederpix aan het begin van het jaar een wedstrijd van de beste foto van het jaar ervoor, dus deze keer was het "de beste foto van 2012".
De foto's worden anoniem beoordeeld door alle Nederpixers en die mogen nominaties geven. De 15 meest genomineerde foto's gaan naar een vakjury die uiteindelijke de hoofdprijs en de 1e t/m 5e prijs bepalen.
Ook wordt er tegelijk door Birdpix zo'n zelfde wedstrijd georganiseerd, maar dan met vogelfoto's.
Dit is één van mijn twee inzendingen. Deze is genomineerd en door de vakjury beoordeeld.

Since a few years the site for naturephotography Nederpix organizes at the beginning of the year a photo contest for the best photo of the year before, so this time "the best photo of 2012".
The photo's are uploaded on the site and all Nederpixers may vote. The 15 photo's with the most votes are being judged by a professional jury. They choose the best pictures.
At the same time Birdpix organizes a similar contest, but only with pictures from birds.
