This family from Rhode Island took advantage of a lovely day by simply launching their 19-footer,motoring 40 yards downriver, anchoring, and then enjoying a picnic lunch afloat.
They never went anywhere, but just ate sandwiches and drinks, soaked up some sun with their life-jacket equipped toddler, and contemplated baby #2,which was clearly due in two to three months. Some minutes after the picnic lunch was over, dad pulled anchor and they set about their next move with the boat. I snapped this photo as they were preparing to get underway.
