Lake Sebu at sunrise and on a full moon

For 3 days, I was blessed with evenings of full moon and glorious sunrises from my cottage by the lake in Mountain Lake Eco Resort. I was doing a photography workshop with kids as a project of Save the Children Organization in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

During cold evenings, I stayed awake at night patiently documenting these water lilies illuminated by the full moon. At dawn, I woke before the sky was bathed in orange glow. I braved the chill as I captured these flowers in full bloom, stretching fragile, slender necks towards the sun, then closing its petals before noon.
