I like the close in crop on these two. I'm inclined to agree with something that Sheila alluded to; I'm not sure that I'd know from looking at it exactly what Barry's is. I appreciate the desire for a nice, clean appearance but I think that in marketing terms that may be a self-defeating decor.
I miss that days when there was a real barber's pole... I like the dramatic difference in shop fronts here. One is clean and modern and simple, while the other isn't. Nice find!!!
Just looked at this image again. I really love it! The colors are wonderful and the composition is superb. Most of all there is a wonderful timeless quality about it. V
With the bike leaning against the wall it makes us wonder if he is in Barry's or if he is getting a hair cut. Nice to see they still have the red and white barber pole. I'm with Johnny, I like the striped pavement too!
Nice shot of everyday life. Looks like Barry is still deciding how to complete his sign :0) Interesting shop fronts, so different in the amount of window space they have.
