Only a quickie comment in general, Jim. The colour rendition with the Canon at 200 ISO is far superior to anything using even 400 ISO - and certainly streets ahead of the 1600 etc. ratings. Interestingly, the Sigma at 200 ISO still slightly beats it, so perhaps a useful, for you, exercise would be to make some direct comparison shots (of say a static subject with colour - like some of those garden shots with a variety of flowers) with all the cameras you use (hire a camel to carry them all, with lenses, of course) using exactly the same exposure, so shots with each at 100, 200 and 400 would reveal a lot about what you can achieve. A nice little comparuison exercise for you when you get a nice day perhaps. Anyway - quite a nice selection of shots, although (being nittypickety) the horizons seem to show the sea running down a bit. Takes a lot of work to crop and adjust and obviously, no real need to do that for any other than any special ones of course. Handholding never was conducive to getting horizons level as the content is always more important, so keep up the good work!
