The view from the Zilker Clubhouse just west of Austin is becoming one of my favorite vantage points for the Austin Skyline and for Austin panoramas. In the evening with the setting sun behind me, the last rays of light illuminate the downtown Austin highrises in shades of orange and gold. The entire Austin cityscape lights up in a collage of wonderful colors.

To the south of the city, you can see the waters of Ladybird lake begin to reflect the lights of cars on 1st street and Congress Bridges.

The Austin skyline is quickly changing, and soon there will be more skyscrapers added to this Austin panorama.
