This small lizard lives in native grasslands. Given westerners approach to grasslands is "Build on it! Put sheep on it! Put cows on it!
We need a golf course!" this wold appear to be a poor choice. However, they didn't choose, they are part of the grasslands
community, and we have a responsibility to protect these diminutive reptiles.
