Fleeting Shadows 32

Charleston, SC

Sometimes, as the saying goes, it is better to be lucky, than to be good.

When I walked into our house with groceries, and saw a perfect diagonal
cast by a noon sun, cutting the frame and image, I dropped everything
and went for the camera. Of course, the sun had moved just a little by
the time I had the camera at my eye, but still close enough.

A fleeting shadow, indeed.

(PS, yes, I hang my own photographs around the place - and I have
no competition, so they always look superior. :-))) )

I also find that sometimes around the house a picture possibility pops up. I have a similar one and i also have pictures on the wall and I agree with your reason

Good man.
What do you mean 'went for the camera'.
I always believed it was welded to your wrist.
A grand, lucky shot.
