IMG_0275 Sandhill Cranes at Sunset

Apache Station Wildlife Area, Dragoon, AZ

The Sandhill Cranes winter in Southeastern Arizona and one of the places they stay is the Apache
Station Wildlife Area about 25 miles from where I work.
I occasionally visit there after work in the hopes of seeing them fly in for the night.
On this occasion, I was blessed to stay until sunset and saw them flying in in huge formations!
