After First light of M42 (Previous image) - It was time for some Galaxy hunt.
This target of NGC 3718 (Upper) and NGC 3729 (Bottom) - was my first pick.
These galaxies at mag 11 came out VERY tough to image.
GSO 8" F8 RC scope.
SBIG ST8300M camera with FW5 filterwheel and BAADER HA-LRGB filters.
EQ6 Pro mount with PHD guiding
Lum for 100 minutes
RGB 10 minutes each (BIN 2X2)
Total of 130 minutes
