Comet C/2012 F6 Lemmon was discovered on September 17 2012 and we have been privileged to see it in our southern skies over the past few weeks.
On Feb 15 2013 it was in the same field as the beautiful global cluster NGC104 so it made a lovely wide field image
This is my first attempt at imaging a comet . It was captured on a static tripod hence the star trails.
This is the first image with my new Canon 600D ...
