Yes I think by the looks of the little shrew, it might be past its shelf life, looks a bit bloated. Hummm? Maybe that is the trouble, it's not dead! It's just been hanging out with all this food and has eaten itself so fat it can't walk another step. :o) Seriously I do wonder what happened to it. It looks like it just had a heart attack and fell over on the spot, you can see it was warm when it firt layed there as the snow is melted below it. Poor little thing. Good entry for the theme!
