Cropped (not resized) shot from a ca. 1957 Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM lens at f/1.4 and focused about as close as it would go on a Panasonic G2 using stacked lens adapters: Voigtlander LTM-M -> Metabones M-m43. Exposure difference from the f/2 shot suggests that light falloff makes f/1.4 about 1/3 stop slower than specified (i.e. f/1.6)
This lens is not particularly sharp under these conditions but has very smooth bokeh. Stopped down a bit and used at more "normal" distances it becomes very good indeed
