Everything was repainted and new carpet put down. I got the carpet for free from a friend's husband who is in construction. Had it left over from a job so he gave it to me. I wouldn't have picked out blue but it works and it is a lot better than what was there before. And, you can't beat free! All it cost for me to re-carpet the hallways and living room was $27.79. :)
