Above The Clouds Big Sur HWY 1
It was overcast and cloudy on most of the trip south through HWY 1 until we got to Point Lobos where the fog started to come in and hang on the trees and rugged coastline...
Upon the departure we headed further south where it was misty rain and cloudy until sunset.

As we got past Lucia we encountered some heavy Fog and it was hard to drive as it was soooo thick we could barely see 20' ahead.
The winding road took us higher and higher which brought us "Above the Fog" as the Sun was setting.

Pastels started to form and then the light broke through with these amazing colours that lit the sky ablaze with reflections on the top of the Fog...

Truly a "Moment in Time"......
