25-JAN-2013 Vern Rogers (fotabug fotos)

Springfield Museum

In the picture, the Springfield Museum is the brick building on the right. The stairway and walkway lead to city hall. People were just starting to come in for work. I am sure they wondered who that weird guy with the camera was, wandering around out there in the dark.

Lovely angles and combinations of light, Vern. I like the mural kind of hiding in there too. ;)

The light and shapes make the picture looking a bit surreal! Well seen, Vern! V.

very good position - wonderful angles - light spilling out all over casting shadows and defining edges - just a hint of light breaking in the sky. All in all, a breathtaking shot.

I always liked the angles in this building. Good POV on getting them into a single photo.

As for the "weird guy taking photographs" factor, I have been "questioned" on multiple occasions when taking photographs of buildings. Once, I was bluntly told to stop, that it was a "private building." I responded that the photons were in a public space and kept on. The security guard scrunched his face trying work out what a "photon" was and wandered away. Mission accomplished.
