The Minaret of Kalta-Minor and some uzbeki men in Khiva. Kalta Minor means “short minaret”.
It was supposed to be 70 or 110 mtrs high, but in 1855 the Khiva ruler Muhammad Amin Khan was killed and the construction of the magnificent minaret was stopped.
