Thanks to Ron Gile for his tip about the mountain goats that are low near the Mendenhall Glacier I slugged out this morning and they were just above the lake. Had to back up because I had hauled my 500mm lens and I couldn't fit one in the frame. Backed out farther on the lake to get this shot. Also saw a pair of Gray-crowned Rosy Finches working in the same area as the goats.
It was raining and this poor goat showed how wet it was! Temperatures in the upper 30's to low 40's recently.
