Hawaii awakens

That is my haiku for Haiku Beach, on Maui’s west coast, from which it should be readily apparent why I’m going to stick to photography. The Hawaiian Islands are packed with so many with grand vistas that it’s easy to overlook the more intimate scenes. On this morning the clouds were not cooperating, so I turn my camera downwards, experimenting with shutter speeds along a beach covered in small pieces of coral.
