We had a lovely dinner with our kids and grandkids prior to Christmas but when I had asked if I could bring Lucy along, my daughter wrote...
"I cannot believe I am saying this, but in the spirit of charity & good will to all, Lucy may attend." :-)

However, there was one stipulation... that Lucy not be included in the family photo.

Thus... our family photo was missing one special member of the family.
And I'm quite sure Lucy was feeling quite sad that she was not a part of it all.
She just sat in the chair and did not say a word!
