We saw the Northern Lights for 3 consecutive nights. The first 2 times they
lasted only a few minutes. But on this night, they lasted over 9 hours and that was so
great as to bring tears to my eyes in their beauty. There was a crew here this week
from the BBC who were trying to do a documentary on the Arctic Fox. They posted 2 of
their crew in the Tower and photographed the entire 9 hour display. That was about 1
exposure every 30 seconds or so. They showed it to us a few nights later. 9 hours
of the Aurora presented in a time-lapse of about 2 minutes. Georgeous, just gorgeous.
