And finally the very mature waratah ...

As the waratah matures winged seeds which were layered into those banana shaped follicles are spilled and the red bracts droop languidly beneath the main flower... and now I can't wait until next spring... I have to thank my plant book for much of this information. It's amazing where our photography takes us.
