in contrast to the local street scenes previously posted, the Christmas lights at the botanical gardens are far from modest, a bit over the top in fact...still, they caught the eye one chilly evening

They've gone for volume alright. It is a fine splash of colour and I like the bandstand or marquee in the centre.
