Toppled Champion Pin Oak

Silver Lake Nature Center - Bristol, PA

This huge Pin Oak was toppled by the winds of Hurricane Sandy.
Prior to falling this tree was listed on the Champion Trees of Pennsylvania as the third largest Pin Oak in Pennsylvania.
It was 86' high and had a trunk circumference of 19'.
