This bridge over the Des Moines River is a half mile long and 125 feet above the river. It is built on the pillars of an old railroad. The frames are meant to represent the support frames of a coal mine, as this was once an active mining area. Going into the blue lit frames is like entering a mine. We arrived at the bridge right at sunset and set up the tripod. This is a beautiful peaceful place.
