Lighting was contrasty and harsh. Managed a couple of decent shots. The continuing presence of a hawk keeps the small flock of pine grosbeaks feeding in tight quarters instead of out in the open. That is my guess anyway. Something, maybe a coopers hawk swooped in again, scattering the birds everywhere.
