We aren't into big "sit-down" lunches, but do love Florentine pizzas.
For years, we've often indulged our pizza fantasy at Picadilly Pizza on the Por S. Maria about two blocks off Ponte Vecchio.
It's handy,quick, and there are a number of delicious pizza varieties which you buy by the slice.
We order a couple of rather generous slabs of pizza for each of us, and then half those ,and have 4 different kinds to munch on.
There is always a variety of freshly made sandwiches and salads to choose from as well.

There is a little awning covered patio in the back where you can eat outdoors, even when it is quite cool
or even if the rain isn't too heavy.
HIghly recommended unless you are a two hour wine-and-dessert for lunch type !
