This is one of several wooden models for the Dome of Florence Cathedral, but not the one that Brunelleschi submitted.
The Opera del Duomo (Cathedral Museum) houses many of the original work models and drawings of the cathedral and dome,
as well as some interesting original tools and other implements used in the building of the Duomo.
