Satellite Bull Gesturing Me Away

Buffalo National River, Boxley Valley

It is pretty rare for Arkansas elk to show aggression. I moved into this bulls comfort zone and he turned his head and shoulders toward me to signal that I had crossed into his comfort zone. At the time I was 30 yards from him kneeling close to the ground.
