Over the weekend of September 23, 2012 ourselves and 18 of our friends and aquaintances chartered a photo
freight on Central Montana Rail. The CMR is essentialy on life support since the 2,098 foot long viaduct over the
Judith River was rendered impassable after high water shifted a number of the bridge piers, severing its connection
to BNSF at Moccasin, MT. There is still some hope that the State of Montana may intervene and provide at least
some of the $4 million that will be need to restore service on the line but we all thought it was prudent to get
images of this operation before it was too late.
