47th Tampere Illuminations 28 Oct 2012 – 6 Jan 2013. The lightest autumn in Finland is found in Tampere.
Fantastic light figures bring light and joy in the darkest time of the year. There are about 200 beautiful light figures spread throughout the Tampere city center this year.

The opening of the Tampere Illuminations at Tampere Central Square on Sunday, 28 October.

The opening event will include trumpet music, Flamma Group's fire show and fabulous fireworks. At the end, the light figures above the streets will be lit. On the opening evening the lights will be on until midnight.
