Though the general rule is basically twice the focal length(for 1/100s in this case), I set the minimum shutter speed in Aperture mode for 1/50s on this lens because the in body stabilization is quite effective as you can see at a 100% crop in this image. It also has a lot to do with a steady hand. I give credit to all the dozens of years of target handgun shooting I have done.
