One of my fave old star trail shots made on color slides, this one Kodachrome. Color inside mostly by candlelight, and a portable flash with colored gels painting the rest. At 15º/hour, these star trails are about 120-130º of arc, which would make the exposure around 8 or 9 hours long. Lookout is oriented True North.
In the self-portrait I have on one of the original walkman-radio portable headsets by Panasonic from the 70's, with two antennas, one of which sticks up over each ear, alien-like. 8^)
