While I have served several Presidents and now my eighth Governor, this photo is special to me. This Governor I served during his two terms was the first Republican Governor for the State of Alabama since the Civil War. He died a few years ago and during his first term he was the common man's person seeking government to improve the lives of the citizens instead of the pockets of a few who support only the political party and themselves when seeking legislation or favors from our State's entities.
