Or walking in the dust being kicked up by wagons, horses and cattle or pushing a hand cart!
How humbling indeed considering we cross it with such ease
and how in todays world people do made up, pretend adversity
and think they are somehow special. I've driven most of trails of the west and have imagined it! We cross what they pushed hard for all day long in less than 15 minutes!
Those that made it were tough and lucky.
