Well, after close to 200 hours (honestly lost count after the first month) ... my Art Guitar for
Autism is completed!! Entitled, "Through the Haze, Dreams Take Flight," it is filled with powerful
symbolism and deep, deep love and respect for all who are living with the effects of autism. Not
only was it my hope for it to be visually compelling, but throughout this entire project, one of
the foremost goals was that it remain a beautiful instrument of music and song. I am happy to say
that it is, without a doubt, still a guitar meant for playing, meant for making music, meant for telling a story through song. The first song sung with this guitar has, as its first verse, these lyrics:

I was lonely when you found me, broken, shamed and lost.
Reaching for me, seeing through me, you didn't count the cost.
You spoke a word. "Love" is all I heard." I am reborn, after love.

-----

Let love rule, friends ... as it keeps all dreams alive.

Very nice job on the guitar and the image, Nancy. Wish that it will bring a lot of money for the cause. Fantastic.
